Hey guys and welcome. Summer is around the corner, and personally I am very excited for this upcoming year of scuba diving. My scuba gear has been screaming my name through my closet door all week. And I cannot wait to unleash it. For information about me and my experience with diving visit the About ME section. I made this blog as a way for those who want to learn how to scuba dive, beginners and advanced divers to share dive sites, tips on what they like for gear, and where they like to go diving. I will also be posting regularly about differnt wreck dives, beginner dives and other secret spots, for those who wanna see what New England really has to offer for Scuba Divers. I hope you get alot out of this blogsite, and gets you as excited for this upcoming season as I am.
Hey guys my name is Brianna and I love scuba diving. I have only been certified for a year and not living on a tropical island can make it seem like there are not any real opportunities to go diving. However, just because there is not 100 ft visibility does not mean it cannot be fun. I live in Rhode Island and currently go to College at University of Rhode Island. I first became interested in Scuba Diving a few years ago back in high school. I began to talk to family and friends about diving and did not realize how many people I had known were already certified and the experiences they said they had and what an amazing feeling it was to be underwater, was beyond words. I started taking out books and learning more and more about scuba diving, when finally for my graduation gift, my parents signed me up for classes. I was so excited, the minute I put that mask on and took my first breath underwater I was hooked. I wanted the dive right in (no pun intended) and never stop. A lot of people are taken aback by the amount of risks and horror stories but if scuba diving is done right, there is nothing to fear.
